Doctor Who’s Cybermen Are Just as Scary When Made from Plastic
Cybermen are among Doctor Who’s classic villains. Metal, armed, and resilient, they have been a regular threat for the Doctor to reckon with over the decades. Their look has evolved over time into a more sleek design. Replica Prop Forum (RPF) user Tildane has made more than one Cyberman helmet, including a Mark VII. He started with the ear pieces and vacuum formed them from plastic, using stacked MDF blocks as his base. The shape of the overall helmet was constructed from blue styrene foam, and then Tildane covered it with clay in order to add more details.
