Lord of the Rings Aragorn Chainmail Made from 42,000 Rings
To cosplay as Aragorn in Lord of the Rings is to be a king. Redditor NostalgicFangirl made the character’s under tunic (under armor?) for a costume, but the challenge is that it’s not fabric. It’s a full length piece of chainmail, kind of like a chainmail dress. NostalgicFangirl ordered the aluminum rings from Amazon (aluminum is lighter than steel) and then shaped them into the tunic. It’s made from an astounding 42,000 rings.
