Paper for Crafting Projects

As we explore new materials for papercraft projects, I wanted to know more about paper thickness and how to read the numbers on the labels. I thought I’d search on YouTube (as one does) to see if someone made a crash course on the subject.

Karen Kavett DIY has a nice round up of common paper types, thickness and how they’re used for.

For those who like TLDR, here’s a handy chart I found on the internets. source: https://www.cardstock-warehouse.com/pages/basis-weight-chart
