Adafruit CRICKIT for Circuit Playground Express: COMING SOON! Sign up to be notified as soon as we have these in stock!

Sometimes we wonder if robotics engineers ever watch movies. If they did, they’d know that making robots into slaves always ends up in a robot rebellion. Why even go down that path? Here at Adafruit, we believe in making robots our friends! (Read more)

TT Motor Pulley – 36mm Diameter: Mechanical transmission for the win, this simple plastic pulley can attach to your TT motor to transmit rotation from the motor axle to…somewhere else.

This is a very useful part when you require more than wheels for your robotics project. A belt and pulley solution can be light-weight and very efficient. (Read more)

TT Motor All-Metal Gearbox – 1:90 Gear Ratio: These durable (but affordable!) gearbox motors (also known as ‘TT’ motors) are an easy, low-cost way to get your projects moving. This is a TT DC All-Metal Gearbox Motor with a gear ratio of 1:90 about double of the ‘standard’ 1:48 ratio. That gives them higher torque but slower rotational speed. Since they’re slower they’re good for robots where strength is more important than speed. (Read more)

TT Motor Bi-Metal Gearbox – 1:90 Gear Ratio: These durable (but affordable!) gearbox motors (also known as ‘TT’ motors) are an easy, low-cost way to get your projects moving. This is a TT DC Bi-Metal Gearbox Motor with a gear ratio of 1:90 about double of the ‘standard’ 1:48 ratio. That gives them higher torque but slower rotational speed. Since they’re slower they’re good for robots where strength is more important than speed. (Read more)

Large Clear Practice Padlock: In a province somewhere in Tamriel, you’ve been stuck in a dank, dirty dungeon cell for who knows how long. You shake your chains at a rat scurrying across the stone floor into the pockets of a fellow cell-mate sleeping off a bottle of contraband ale. The rat scuttles back out with three lockpicks in its tiny rodent maw, and drops them next to you. Your first attempt breaks immediately in the padlock cylinder. Growling, you pick up the second lock-pick and try again. (Read more)

Adafruit NeoPXL8 FeatherWing for Feather M0 – 8 x DMA NeoPixels!: Since we first started carrying NeoPixels back in 2012, the chainable RGB LEDs have taken over the world. And a big part of that success is due to the simplicity of their wiring – just one data wire, no matter how many pixels you’ve got. So no surprise they’re everywhere, blinking away in art exhibits, maker faire demos, DJ booths, decorations and costumes. (Read more)
