I was clearly inspired by this project by Phillip Burgess. But I wanted to build a more robust solution for cars, with 8 channels. I never designed a PC board before, so that was a fun learning experience. I had the PCBs manufactured, bought a ton of parts, and I am now putting these kits together. I can also sell a parts-kit and the blank PCB for anyone that wants to build it all themselves. As the original post mentions, this can be used for wearables, cosplay, toys, games, Halloween, or really anything that needs remote activated sound effects.
