Rock-Solid and lightweight emergency whistle. Two chamber design. Painful loud, louder than the v29 and twice as loud as the “wannabe 129db” whistle.
If you have stringing problems, this whistle will not work for you, because there are a lot of retractions. Check your slicer settings. Maybe lower the print speed and/or the temperature. Increasing the retraction distance could be a good idea too.
I’ve added a second version. Slightly different shape, a little bit smaller and lighter and a different lanyard hole. But same loudness.
Every Thursday is #3dthursday here at Adafruit! The DIY 3D printing community has passion and dedication for making solid objects from digital models. Recently, we have noticed electronics projects integrated with 3D printed enclosures, brackets, and sculptures, so each Thursday we celebrate and highlight these bold pioneers!
Have you considered building a 3D project around an Arduino or other microcontroller? How about printing a bracket to mount your Raspberry Pi to the back of your HD monitor? And don’t forget the countless LED projects that are possible when you are modeling your projects in 3D!
Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
