Here’s another addition to our growing family of AA battery holders. A holder for four (4) AA batteries! It’s got an 8″ long power cable with a 2.1mm DC jack at the end, and, oh yes, it’s in classy Adafruit black.

4 x AA battery packs are best used with development boards with 2.1mm DC jacks and can run with ~4.8V (4 x NiMH) to ~6V (4 x Alkaline). Great for powering boards with a ~4.5-6.5V DC input allowance as you’ll see that range depending on how fresh the batteries are.
