Add or Repair an Electroluminescent Panel Connection

A really handy Youtube video from Michael Horn who also posted in our forums.

We all love the look of electroluminescent (EL) panels – that spooky, colored glow is great to enhance many things.

But what if you want to cut out a custom shape? How do you get wires on it to use your cut out shape?

This is where the video shows you how step by step. You’ll need a knife, some conductive paste, a bit of copper tape, tape & glue and a soldering iron + solder.

With Halloween coming up, I’m sure this technique will be widely used. Check out the Youtube video.

Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
