Mu is our favorite Python editor and it recently has gained internationalization support. Coders know this is no small task and it is very interesting how @ntoll and the Mu team have gone about it.
Mu uses Python’s standard gettext based internationalization API so we can make use of standard tools to help translators, such as poedit.
As part of the process, there is a “rough cut” of the translations by running them through the Google Translator Toolkit which allows for glossaries and organizing translations rather than the cut & paste of the standard Google Translate.
Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
