Here’s a snazzy accessory for your Raspberry Pi Zero or Zero W, a color-coded 2×20 header! This Color Coded Header takes the mystery out of your Raspberry Pi’s 2×20 pinout. No longer will you stare in confusion at all 40 pins, trying to count out which one you want to plug your wires into.
Peep this handy color coding:
Red = 5V
Yellow = 3V
Black = GND
Blue = Do Not Connect
Green = GPIO
Connecting to your Pi Zero requires a bit of soldering, but if you’re looking for an alternative, try the solderless GPIO Hammer Headers!
Please note: only the Pi Zero and Zero W come without a header pre-soldered. You won’t be able to use this with the Pi 2, 3 or Zero WH as those Pi’s have pre-attached header pins.
