For those who are fans of our silicone-covered wires, but are always looking to up their wiring game. We now have Silicone Cover Ribbon cables! These may look a lot like squid ink noodles, but they’re not. The silicone-sheathed wire is super-flexible and soft, and it’s also strong! Able to handle up to 200°C and up to 600V, it will do when PVC covered wire wimps out. We like this wire for being extremely supple and flexible, so it is great for wearables or projects where the wire-harness has to be able to deal with a lot of bending.
We have them in a couple different gauges!
First up, the 4 Wire / 30AWG!
You get 1 meter of 4 x black wires, so you can pull and separate how many wires you need. The wire is 30AWG stranded with an outer diameter of 0.8mm.
Need a little more? Here’s the 10 Wire / 28AWG!
You get 1 meter of 10 x black wires, so you can pull and separate how many wires you need. The wire is 28AWG stranded with an outer diameter of 1.2mm.
Need just a little bit less? Take a look at the 4 Wire / 28AWG!
You get 1 meter of 4 x black wires, so you can pull and separate how many wires you need. The wire is 28AWG stranded with an outer diameter of 1.2mm.
And last but not least, the 4 Wire / 26AWG!
You get 1 meter of 4 x black wires, so you can pull and separate how many wires you need. The wire is 26AWG stranded with an outer diameter of 1.5mm.

Stop breadboarding and soldering – start making immediately! Adafruit’s Circuit Playground is jam-packed with LEDs, sensors, buttons, alligator clip pads and more. Build projects with Circuit Playground in a few minutes with the drag-and-drop MakeCode programming site, learn computer science using the CS Discoveries class on code.org, jump into CircuitPython to learn Python and hardware together, TinyGO, or even use the Arduino IDE. Circuit Playground Express is the newest and best Circuit Playground board, with support for CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. It has a powerful processor, 10 NeoPixels, mini speaker, InfraRed receive and transmit, two buttons, a switch, 14 alligator clip pads, and lots of sensors: capacitive touch, IR proximity, temperature, light, motion and sound. A whole wide world of electronics and coding is waiting for you, and it fits in the palm of your hand.
