This super-duper pimped out camera, the ‘Camera Tell’ enables you to take a picture and then it is analysed for you. Then the content of the image is read out to you, for example,
“the picture contains, a cat, a tree and a bike”.
This started off as a fun project but as I was developing it I thought that it could be used as an aid to support people identifying where there were, what an object was and even what another person was feeling.
Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
