iOS developers are now able to download Apple’s sample app that scans and detects 3D objects.
With efforts to make ARkit’s interaction more compelling, ARkit 2 gives developer the power to create apps that recognizes features of the user’s environment and use them to trigger the appearance of virtual content.
As you can see above, I’ve tested it on my Nefertiti statue. Once scanned the statue, the app created a .arobject file that I sent to my computer.
