DuckDuckGo is our fave search engine… Here’s a fun tip for searching Adafruit using . DuckDuckGo supports “Bangs” which are URLs that pre-populate the search on the site you are looking for things on, Adafruit has a few Bangs’ on DuckDuckGo.

Here’s what they do.

!aft !adafruit and !fruit searches the Adafruit store, for example type !aft on DuckDuckGo then circuitpython, it will automatically search

!afl searches the Adafruit Learning System, for example type !afl on DuckDuckGo then circuitpython, it will automatically search

You can submit Bangs’ here.

We like DuckDuckGo because it block advertising trackers, and keeps search history private. We also sent in one to search our blog, so check back and check DuckDuckGo to see when/if it’s added!
