Spotted on TwitterTI-Planet | TI-Python: import sys reveals CircuitPython Adafruit!. If we’re reading this correctly the upcoming TI-83 Premium CE calculator will have a TI-Python adapter that runs CircuitPython the first quarter of 2019! (gallery) This means “CircuitPython snakes its way to TI calculators!”…

“TI-Python module connection and update”….

As promised, we learn more about the plug-in TI-Python, especially that unlike other calculators he does not use MicroPython but CircuitPython, an implementation actually derived from MicroPython and developed by Adafruit. It would seem to be a Circuitpython 3.0.0 implementing Python 3.4.0.
implementation = (name = ‘circuitpython’, version = (3, 0, 0))
