Here’s something from Russian multimedia artist Dmitry Morosov, aka ::vtol::, who’s created an interactive sound installation that consists of four Wi-Fi routers connected to four LTE modems. The piece is called “Mayak” and it uses the data to trigger some synthesizers.
Keep in mind that all four routers are open Wi-Fi spots so that the synthesizers are being triggered by people accessing and using the internet with their own devices.
