There are some YouTube audio/video sync issues on our live videos which are later viewed on YouTube – We have reported the YouTube audio/video sync issues to our YouTube partner contact & YouTube Support Team as well as to the@TeamYouTube Twitter account.
After February 20th or so, LIVE STREAMED videos stream with the audio and video synced correctly, when they are stored/archived AFTER the live streaming, they are also correctly synced for about 2-3 hours then after that the audio and video become unsynchronized depending on what device/platform the user is viewing it on. Our community has posted in the comments and on Discord as we’ve done more testing as to which ones are synced and which ones have the audio and video unsynchronized.
Unsynchronized audio and video:
Mac OS / Chrome, Safari and FireFox A & V out of sync.
Windows Chrome and FireFox A & V out of sync
Firefox Quantum 65.0.1(64-bit) on Linux Mint 18.1 ‘Serena’ “Xfce 64-bit” A & V out of sync.
Synced:
Android in the native YouTube app is OK.
Windows Edge is OK.
iPad and iPhone (iOS) is OK.
