Hackaday IO user shankz made 3D printed Lithophane backstage passes for the Whole Earth Festival. This includes a box to hold and illuminate the laminate.
I’m 3D printing backstage passes using lithophanes. This is a laminate holder I designed for them, a kind of a light box. I built it around the Adafruit Feather 32u4 Bluefruit LE and a 4×8 NeoPixel FeatherWing with a 3.7V 1200mAh Li-Po I built the box in Fusion with cutouts for lithophanes. I made lithos in photoshop using the cutout dimensions. I imported all the files into Cura and constructed the box.
I’m pretty happy with it. It debuts this weekend in Davis, CA.
