Part of the Duplo Gears Project.

This generates gear rods to convert rotation from Duplo Gears into a linear motion and back. Long rods with any length and height can be created. Generated rods can be chained together with a simple snap in connector. To hold rods in place better, simply put another (short) rod on top and lock with a Duplo bridge from the top.

Works pretty well already, especially with long rods. Well working chains of short parts might need further tweaking of tolerances, especially on the connector. This might also require tweaking parameters for your printer. At this point, the code is not clean enough to easily do this, yet.
