We’ve got the New nEw NEW for you right here:
NEW PRODUCTS THIS WEEK
Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3+ Dev Kit with Two Computer Modules: The Compute Module 3+ Dev Kit is for those who wish to make use of the Raspberry Pi in a more flexible form factor, intended for industrial applications. The IO Board V3+ is made for developing with CM3+, CM3+/Lite, CM3, CM3L, and CM1.
USB C Powered Soldering Iron – Adjustable Temperature Pen-Style – TS80: The TS80 is a chic and smart soldering iron powered by USB Type-C and QC3.0 standard input. Normally we’d scoff at trying to power a soldering iron off of USB, but thanks to the new USB C standard, the power plug that’s included is a 9V 2A so you get a reasonable ~20 Watts of power. So, this is the first USB iron we would feel comfortable stocking, its a nice iron, good enough for every-day use. We dig the slim pen iron (so comfortable to hold), adjustable temperature (oooh there’s a OLED screen!), durable grounding cord, and fast heat-up (about 22 seconds)!
HDMI Dummy Plug: What do you do when you want to tinker with GPU hardware, but you don’t have a display on hand?
This HDMI Dummy Plug is a small device that acts as a display emulator. Once it’s plugged into the video output socket on your device or computer, the plug punks the operating system into detecting a connected display, and voilà! Now you have unimpeded access to your graphics card hardware.
4-H Circuit Playground Express – Base Kit: We are super pleased to enjoy a partnership with an engaging, empowering foundation like 4-H. Here at Adafruit we drive ourselves to “be excellent”, and 4-H’s motto is “to make the best better.” Though typically thought of as an agriculturally focused organization, 4-H today focuses on citizenship, healthy living, science, engineering, and technology programs. As far as inspiring the next generation of makers and leaders, we like to think we have a lot in common!
Adafruit DC & Stepper Motor Bonnet for Raspberry Pi: Let your robotic dreams come true with the new DC+Stepper Motor Bonnet from Adafruit. This Raspberry Pi add-on is perfect for any motion project as it can drive up to 4 DC or 2 Stepper motors with full PWM speed control. We basically took our super-popular DC+Stepper Motor HAT and squeezed it down and made it fully assembled – plug and play ready to go, no soldering required!
Adafruit AirLift Shield – ESP32 WiFi Co-Processor: Give your Arduino project a lift with the Adafruit AirLift Shield – a shield that lets you use the powerful ESP32 as a WiFi co-processor. You probably have your favorite Arduino-compatible (like the Metro M4 or the classic Metro 328) that comes with its own set of awesome peripherals and lots of libraries. But it doesn’t have WiFi built in! So lets give that chip a best friend, the ESP32. This chip can handle all the heavy lifting of connecting to a WiFi network and transferring data from a site, even if it’s using the latest TLS/SSL encryption (it has root certificates pre-burned in).
