When Google introduced its augmented reality (AR) headset in 2013, it was an ambitious, expensive and bulky piece of tech without much real world use. Fast forward to 2019, and apparently the tech has improved enough that we are ready for the second wave of AR glasses. In fact, the industry has even given it a fancy new term, MR (mixed reality).
