Adafruit 1.54″ 240×240 Wide Angle TFT LCD Display with MicroSD – ST7789

We’ve been looking for a display like this for a long time – it’s only 1.5″ diagonal but has a high density 220 ppi, 240×240 pixel display with full-angle viewing. It looks a lot like our 1.44″ 128×128 display, but has 4x as many pixels and looks great at any angle. We’ve seen displays of this caliber used in smartwatches and small electronic devices but they’ve always been MIPI interface. Finally, we found one that is SPI and has a friendly display driver, so it works with any and all microcontrollers or microcomputers!

AdaBox012 – PyGamer

Oh! Hello! If you’re here, (and we suspect you are) it’s because you want to reward yourself with the gift of handheld gaming development and coding with an AdaBox! Perhaps you are a beginner who is getting started with your AdaBox. Or maybe you just want to relive what it’s like being a beginner at game development and coding again. But most of all, you want to learn how to build and make creative, awesome games! (If, rather than learn game dev and coding, you’d like to look at pictures of cats instead, please check https://www.adafruit.com/galleries/cats-of-engineering But if we’re being honest, learning game development and coding will inevitably lead to even more efficient, creative, and high-tech cat picture viewing. It’s pretty much cats all the way down, people.)

Slide Potentiometer with Plastic Knob – 45mm Long – 10KΩ

If you’re tired of the regular-old-twisty potentiometers we carry, why not slide over and try this slide pot? Most famously used on mixers and the transporter control panel on Star Trek, these slide pots are not too long at only 45mm. Use as a voltage divider and you can visually gauge the voltage from low to high. There’s a center indentation so you know when you’re in the middle. Best of all, it comes with a knob (e.g. nubbin)!

8 Channel LoRa Gateway HAT with LoRa and GPS Antenna – SX1301 – Pi Not Included

f you’re building a Raspberry Pi project and need to send data back-and-forth, the WiFi module built into newer Pi’s should be fine for most cases.

However, WiFi does not have a long range and also requires both investment (through your ISP) and setup (routers, access points, network security schemes). If you’re deploying your project somewhere more remotely, without WiFi or a strong cellular network, like a rural area, you’ll need another option. Something that can be deployed quickly with no overhead setup and that will transmit/receive over a long distance.
