LEGO Builds a Life-Size Version of Buzz Aldrin’s Apollo 11 Spacesuit

employing a team of 10 LEGO masters, the life-size model spares no detail. using a variety of colored bricks, the work even includes the american flag on aldrin’s left shoulder using red and blue LEGOs and bits of moon dust on his legs using grey. in addition to the model of the spacesuit, the apollo 50 festival will also exhibit landscapes of the moon and mars, inviting members of the public to help in the assembly. visitors will also be able to help construct a model of NASA’s space launch system (SLS).
