Trevor Smith Crochets Retro Appliances #ArtTuesday
These pieces by Trevor Smith are so adorable – we’d love to see some of these filled with cat nip or in a toy box, via Faith is Torment:
Crochet artist Trevor Smith based in Portland crafts a range of retro appliances using pure wool while incorporating foam rubber, polystyrene, foamcore and wire to create the base for his forms. Smith was interested in crafts at a very young age and still finds himself sourcing inspiration from spreads in midcentury magazines.
