Nintendo R.O.B. Robot – new interest in games #Nintendo #Vintage @AtariAge
We’ve been following the work by the maker community to enable modern control and programming of the Nintendo NES R.O.B. robot. Adafruit even helped program hardware to control the robot without the need for an old analog TV.
The place for R.O.B. hacking is the AtariAge forums. Their R.O.B. post had the initial code work and the Adafruit collaboration.
Work had heated up of late with user AlbertCX posting a set of R.O.B. goggles allowing the robot to be controlled from a tablet or phone. Clever!
Additional talk centers on making modern games for R.O.B.
