My daughter was dressing up as Connie from Steven Universe the Movie, so I made her a big sword out of cardboard and duct tape. Sadly, there is a no swords policy at her school for dress-up day, so I wanted to make sure there was something that she could wear other than the NASA jumpsuit. This along with a lion doll should get the point across 🙂
Modeled in Rhino, printed on an Elegoo Mars at 0.05mm in Siraya Blu Clear, painted with some acrylics I found at Michaels. I also glued a small pin on the back that I found at Michaels as well.
Every Thursday is #3dthursday here at Adafruit! The DIY 3D printing community has passion and dedication for making solid objects from digital models. Recently, we have noticed electronics projects integrated with 3D printed enclosures, brackets, and sculptures, so each Thursday we celebrate and highlight these bold pioneers!
Have you considered building a 3D project around an Arduino or other microcontroller? How about printing a bracket to mount your Raspberry Pi to the back of your HD monitor? And don’t forget the countless LED projects that are possible when you are modeling your projects in 3D!
Have an amazing project to share? The Electronics Show and Tell is every Wednesday at 7:30pm ET! To join, head over to YouTube and check out the show’s live chat and our Discord!
