Google is teaming up with Adidas and EA for a new Jacquard product #WearableWednesday #WearableNews #MakerBusiness
A few years ago Google’s Jacquard teamed up with Levi for a wearable trucker Jacket. Now it looks like Adidas and EA are working with Google. Sneakers that interact with Fifa?
In the short GIF in the teaser tweet, the Adidas, FIFA Mobile, and Jacquard logos all appear along with a “Play Connected” tagline and March 10th, which is presumably when more details about the new collaboration will be announced.
Google is launching a “new product powered by Jacquard technologies.” A social media campaign teasing the “next big launch” reveals that the Advanced Technology & Projects group is partnering with the football division of Adidas and EA Sports — specifically, the team responsible for the FIFA Mobile soccer game.
