Kimberlé Williams Crenshaw is a Professor of Law who focuses on Critical Race Theory and is the developer of the theory of Intersectionality and thus, intersectional feminism. Kimberlé Williams Crenshaw’s advocacy, studies, career and accomplishments are myriad and we are so lucky to hear her voice.
She is a leading voice in calling for a gender-inclusive approach to racial justice interventions, having spearheaded the Why We Can’t Wait Campaign and co-authored Black Girls Matter: Pushed Out, Overpoliced and Underprotected, and Say Her Name: Resisting Police Brutality Against Black Women.
