A famous magician named Moulla and his team at Augmented magic have demonstrated a drone umbrella, dronebrella, that follows you, keeping the rain off you without having to hold it. Via a mobile app, this umbrella has manual control, a automatic “follow me” mode, and numerous other functionality.
The umbrella uses a camera and an “artificial intelligence” that helps in tracking and following the user as they walk down the street. It will fly from a distance and follow like a drone. It helps a person commute hands-free (or while holding a cell phone) and is useful in both rain and sun.
Well, what happens if it encounters obstacles in the air. Is it able to avoid them? We’ll see when it comes out supposedly this summer.
