Dazzling Dragon-Sized NeoPixel Showpiece #NeoPixels

NeoPixels and dragons…it’s a trifecta of awesome! Well yes, “NeoPixel” and “dragon” is only two items, but the dragon’s awesome enough to deserve two slots.

Adafruit Forum user LynkK managed to tame this initially-uncooperative room-sized NeoPixel project. The solution seemed to involve more consistent grounding and breaking up long NeoPixel runs into shorter pieces across multiple controllers.

Large-scale NeoPixel projects are tricky like that. Cut off one head and two grow in its place. Both the NeoPixel Überguide and NeoPixel LED Curtain tutorials on the Adafruit Learning System have a lot of tips on building and powering these beasts. Raar!
