The Power Glove Returns to Control Drones in Space! (Sort Of)
It’s not the Nintendo Power Glove. It’s better because it’s in space. The European Space Agency has rekindled the concept to create a tool that would protect astronauts from the vacuum of space and enable them to control drones with hand gestures. More from SlashGear:
…the ESA has published a picture of a new space glove concept made using materials identified under the Pextex Project. The glove would, first and foremost, protect astronauts while in space. The functionality extends beyond that, however, to include gesture-based control of electronic devices that may be deployed on the Moon.
