A two dial clock using auto gauge stepper motors #FromTheForums #Adafruit

From the Adafruit Forums, user PeteBrad shows a lovely two dial clock using auto gauge steppers.

The functioning “prototype”. (It) still needs wood fascia, dial bezels, glass and proper Speedo needles – the ones fitted are carved out of a piece of wooden clothes peg.

It has a Real Time Clock with a button cell battery to keep the time so that the clock hands automatically reset to the correct time at power up. It also automatically compensates for daylight savings time and advances and retards the hour on the appropriate dates and times.

The project uses a modified Daylight Savings Time library from Andy Doro at https://github.com/andydoro/DST_RTC to use for European DST.

See the forum post for more details. Awesome!
