The 9/11 Memorial re-opens to the public today –
On Sunday, the 9/11 Memorial will reopen to the general public with new operational safeguards following a months-long closure because of the health crisis.
The Memorial will be open with adjusted hours—from 1 to 8 p.m., seven days a week—to facilitate regular deep cleanings. All visitors to the Memorial will be required to wear masks, and those who are not feeling well are advised to stay home. Social distancing will be enforced. Hand sanitizer dispensers will be located throughout the plaza. Please use hand sanitizer after touching the Memorial names panels.
