NYC’s TEST & TRACE (T2) DAY is 7/8/2020, here’s the info our team has and we’re postin’ it on up here for NYC community –

TEST & TRACE (T2) DAY
July 8, 2020

Getting tested for COVID-19 is one of the best ways to help Stop the Spread and protect our loved ones. That’s why on Wednesday, July 8th, we’re hosting a Get Tested Day of Action to #FightCOVIDNYC! On July 8, 2020, we are pushing for EVERYONE to #GetTested

But first, some quick background: Getting tested is safe and by getting tested, you are helping to keep your loved ones safe! Get tested even if you do not have symptoms or are unsure if you were exposed to COVID-19. And if you HAVE been exposed (maybe you’ve been in a large crowd), have symptoms or are planning to visit a loved one who is at risk, you should get a COVID-19 swab test. Most results are returned in about 48 hours. Until we have a vaccine, making sure everyone gets tested and safely separates if they test positive is the best way to protect others and help reopen our economy.

The Test & Trace Corps helps all New Yorkers receive FREE testing for COVID-19 and makes sure that anyone with the virus receives care, and can safely separate to prevent the spread. The Corps has activated a special group of Contact Tracers to help provide New Yorkers with the resources they need to safely separate and stay healthy. You can learn more at www.testandtrace.nyc and find a testing site near you.

New Yorkers who test positive for COVID-19 will receive a call from the Test & Trace Corps to make sure that they receive care, and can safely separate to prevent the spread. Be sure to answer any calls from NYC Test+Trace or (212) numbers to get free resources and support.
