The Fund for Public Schools is excited to announce that Ayah Bdeir and Fred Wilson have joined our Board of Directors. As Board members, Bdeir and Wilson will support The Fund in building on its success piloting innovative projects, scaling outcome-driven initiatives, and responding to emerging needs across the NYC DOE, especially as we continue to lead the NYC Schools COVID-19 Response Effort. Both plan to leverage their extensive networks across the technology and business sectors to pave the way for new public-private partnerships, such as supporting the NYC Department of Education in expanding the role technology can play in ensuring continued learning and equitable outcomes for the City’s 1.1 million students.
