A wireless VT320 refurb with an ESP8266 #VintageComputing #Upcycling
imgur user scootermcgoober has refurbished and upcycled an old DEC VT320 minicomputer terminal and added the ability to connect to a WiFi network using an inexpensive ESP-01 module.
I programmed the ESP01 with the zimodem firmware; it gives an AT command set to allow configuring the wifi connection and making and receiving connections. I tweaked the firmware a bit so it is VT320 branded instead of C64.
