The US government can’t use DJI drones — but here are five it just approved #drone #droneday
A couple years back federal agencies were banned from purchasing/using certain Chinese manufactured drones. Now the Department of Defense announced five approved drone companies. This will be no doubt be a huge boon for the approved companies.
Today, the DoD’s Defense Innovation Unit is announcing not one, not two, but five such drones that have been tested, approved, and are now formally available for government use — including ones from formerly consumer-focused drone companies Skydio and Vantage (each based in California) and Parrot (based in France).
