Adafruit LC709203F LiPoly / LiIon Fuel Gauge and Battery Monitor – STEMMA JST PH & QT / Qwiic
Low cost Lithium Polymer batteries have revolutionized electronics – they’re thin, they’re light, they can be regulated down to 3.3V and they’re easy to charge. On your phone, there’s a little image of a battery cell that tells you the percentage of charge – so you know when you absolutely need to plug it in and when you can stay untethered. The Adafruit LC709203F LiPoly / LiIon Fuel Gauge and Battery Monitor does the same thing. Connect it to your Lipoly or LiIon battery and it will let you know the voltage of the cell, it does the annoying math of decoding the non-linear voltage to get you a valid percentage as well!
JST-PH 2-pin Jumper Cable – 100mm long
We use 2 pin JST PH connectors for all our battery packs, and if you want to put a board in series, like our LC709203F Stemma QT battery gauge, this cable will be very handy!
Smart Car Cutebot Robot for micro:bit
This fully-assembled and ready-to-rock robot smart car is the nicest we’ve seen and is incredibly easy to use with a micro:bit and MakeCode. It comes all ready to go, no soldering or screw-driver required. Simply plug in your :bit into the top slot and add three AAA batteries to get moving.
Right Angle RP-SMA Thru Hole RF Connector
This is a great connector for anyone doing RF work, when a right angle RP-SMA connector is required. Solder it into your PCB for a very secure mechanical connection. You’ve probably seen tons of these on various development boards! The four mechanical connectors also act as the RF ground.

Straight SMA Thru Hole RF Connector
This is a great connector for anyone doing RF work, when a straight SMA connector is required. Solder it into your PCB for a very secure mechanical connection. You’ve probably seen tons of these on various development boards! The four mechanical connectors also act as the RF ground.
HackSpace Magazine Issue #34 – Discover Feather – September 2020
HackSpace Magazine is the monthly magazine for the modern maker! Issue #34 highlights the Adafruit Feather, one of our most popular and well-known flagship ecosystem of microcontrollers, single board computers, and add-on boards (FeatherWings).
PIR sensors are used to detect motion from pets/humanoids from about 5 meters away (possibly works on zombies, not guaranteed). This sensor is much smaller than most PIR modules, which makes it great for unobtrusive projects. It’s also fully-contained – only needs power, ground and a resistor to set the delay time – and breadboard or perfboard friendly.

Rainbow “Wire Wrap” Thin 30 AWG Prototyping & Repair Wire – 280 meters total – 35m each of 8
This stuff is called “wire-wrap wire” because it used to be used for wire-wrapping high-speed digital circuits on a special kind of contact board. It’s pretty rare to see wire-wrapping in these days of low-cost PCB fabrication, but the wire is still really handy for prototyping work.
MPM3610 5V Buck Converter Breakout – 21V In 5V Out at 1.2A
This little buck converter based on the MPM3610 is a marvel, taking up to 21V input and providing a 5V output with up to 1.2A current. It’s great for supplying power to popular 5V voltage circuits from a range of battery or power options. This chip provides up to 1.2 Amp load current across the entire input voltage range of 6V to 21V. The high voltage range is what sets this buck converter apart from most!
