A box for straws .. that was the original idea. But the project ended up somewhere else – a pineapple! 🙂 But it still works very well for keeping straws and similar things 😉
There are 3 components – top, bottom and a small circular insert to keep 10 reusable straws and a straw cleaner in the middle. That part is of course optional.
I hope you like the design, and would love to see your printed versions!!! If you post it on Instagram, please tag me in the comment so that I can see them : @gx3dprint – and you can also see a video of this and other designs I do on my profile there!
Every Thursday is #3dthursday here at Adafruit! The DIY 3D printing community has passion and dedication for making solid objects from digital models. Recently, we have noticed electronics projects integrated with 3D printed enclosures, brackets, and sculptures, so each Thursday we celebrate and highlight these bold pioneers!
Have you considered building a 3D project around an Arduino or other microcontroller? How about printing a bracket to mount your Raspberry Pi to the back of your HD monitor? And don’t forget the countless LED projects that are possible when you are modeling your projects in 3D!
Have an amazing project to share? The Electronics Show and Tell is every Wednesday at 7:30pm ET! To join, head over to YouTube and check out the show’s live chat and our Discord!
