Ultra-Fine Stranded Wire Spools: There are multiple versions of this item! Nothing is going to be as thin and flexible as this wire – it feels a little like waxed thread but can carry current! You could use this in wearables or very fine assemblies where weight and bulk is at a premium. Silicone wires are flexible but aren’t as thin. Wire-wrapping wire is thin but isn’t flexible. The covering for the wire is Teflon so it’s good from -80 to +105 degrees C

64×64 RGB LED Matrix – 3mm Pitch – 192mm x 192mm: Winter time can be rough in the city. The sky is gray. The weather is unpredictable. So slough off those seasonal blues with some Times Square razzle dazzle from this sweet, ultra-high-density 64×64 RGB LED Matrix. These panels are typically used to make video walls. Here in New York we see them on the sides of buses and on top of taxi cabs displaying animations or video advertisements. We thought they looked really cool, so we picked up a few boxes of them from a factory. They have 4,096 bright RGB LEDs arranged in a 64×64 grid at a 3mm pitch.

WARNING! These 64-pixel tall matrices use a non-standard 5-address multiplexing system!

SMT Socket – Wide SOIC-16: This socket is good for any SOIC/SOP Wide-body 16 pin chip in a 300mil wide body. Simply flip open the latch, insert the chip, and flip down the latch to secure it in place.

The chip is held securely against gold ‘fingers’ (no, stop, Mr. Bond! It’s not that Goldfinger!) in the socket. The bottom footprint matches the same SOIC footprint so you can solder this onto an existing PCB as long as you have the clearance for the body of the socket

1.25mm Pitch 3-pin Cable Matching Pair – 40cm long – Molex PicoBlade Compatible: When 0.1″ is too big, and JST PH’s too chunky, these ultra-slim 1.25mm connectors are a reliable alternative. These are only 1.25mm pitch, but have a nice clicky connection.

These cables are nice and long, 40cm in fact. They’ve got both small form factor and are a matching set, with an inline socket and plug connector. The two friction lock to make easy-breezy connections whenever you need light and small connectivity.

RCA NTSC or PAL or S-Video Input to USB 2.0 Capture Adapter: Here’s one of the easiest capture solutions for bringing old school audio and video into your computer or Raspberry Pi, really any system with a USB port…

Use this capture device to convert an analog NTSC or PAL video signal from an older device into a digital format your computer can recognize. It’s trivially easy to use: connect and match up the audio and either the S-Video or RCA A/V cables on the older device. Connect the other end to a main board USB port.
