My MagSafe has been sitting on the floor being annoying for years. Last night I quickly drafted out a mount and hanger so I could keep it off the floor. It’s not perfect, but was totally functional on the first try so I probably won’t return to it until this one breaks for some reason.
It’s designed so that you can hang it from whatever is plugged into the outlet and without having to remove the wall plate. The hanger and the bracket print in two separate parts so that it would fit on my build plate, but the hanger should snap onto the bracket without needing any glue.
Every Thursday is #3dthursday here at Adafruit! The DIY 3D printing community has passion and dedication for making solid objects from digital models. Recently, we have noticed electronics projects integrated with 3D printed enclosures, brackets, and sculptures, so each Thursday we celebrate and highlight these bold pioneers!
Have you considered building a 3D project around an Arduino or other microcontroller? How about printing a bracket to mount your Raspberry Pi to the back of your HD monitor? And don’t forget the countless LED projects that are possible when you are modeling your projects in 3D!
Have an amazing project to share? The Electronics Show and Tell is every Wednesday at 7:30pm ET! To join, head over to YouTube and check out the show’s live chat and our Discord!
