Wippersnapper Wednesday is a new blog series from the Adafruit IO team. We’re working on a new way for you to interact with Adafruit IO called Wippersnapper. While Wippersnapper is not public (yet!), we’ll be sharing details, features, development progress and updates every Wednesday as we work on this new service.
This Wednesday, we have a redesigned “new device” screen. Whenever you connect a new device running Wippersnapper to Adafruit IO, you’ll be able to name the device. If you’re an educator or want to put multiple devices running Wippersnapper around your home/workshop/lab – this is a super useful way to keep track of your projects.
You may also notice that this updated pop-up uses the refreshed Adafruit IO user interface. We made the new interface live yesterday, you can check it on io.adafruit.com right now! The focus on this update has been on making Adafruit IO easier to use. You’ll notice larger fonts, less digging into menus, and more options.
What devices are you planning on connecting to Wippersnapper? Let us know in the comments below!
Have an amazing project to share? The Electronics Show and Tell is every Wednesday at 7:30pm ET! To join, head over to YouTube and check out the show’s live chat and our Discord!
