Just want to say thank you for the free item promotion you’re running. I’ve
been working on getting my 4 year old into electronics and saw that you are
giving a Circuit Playground with large orders so am definitely all in on
this one and just made an order! We have been watching the ABC electronics based youtube Circuit Playground
videos and he’s picking things up really well. We have snap circuits around
the house he loves playing with but your videos are really helping things
click for him. My 2 year old daughter watches him like a hawk so I’m hopeful
I’ll have a bunch of little engineers running about over the next few years. He has been asking me about programming (I’m a rust programmer) so I’m
really excited about the way the Circuit Playground will let him quickly
build up working logic visually with the MakeCode. He has just started
getting into reading where he no longer needs our help so I think this is
going to really give him a chance to get creative. He mentioned the other
day he wanted to be a Creeper for Halloween next year and then said he
wanted to put a motion sensor on it so when kids ran by it’d make the
hissing noise even so he definitely is starting to see the big picture. When covid hit I originally looked on your site and saw that you were unable
to send out orders because of the shutdowns but was glad to see you all
really went the extra distance and helped on the PPE front. I’m glad things
have mostly settled down with covid and will be coming back often in the
future as my son gets more into electronics. You all are awesome, keep up
the good work!-Tim

Stop breadboarding and soldering – start making immediately! Adafruit’s Circuit Playground is jam-packed with LEDs, sensors, buttons, alligator clip pads and more. Build projects with Circuit Playground in a few minutes with the drag-and-drop MakeCode programming site, learn computer science using the CS Discoveries class on code.org, jump into CircuitPython to learn Python and hardware together, TinyGO, or even use the Arduino IDE. Circuit Playground Express is the newest and best Circuit Playground board, with support for CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. It has a powerful processor, 10 NeoPixels, mini speaker, InfraRed receive and transmit, two buttons, a switch, 14 alligator clip pads, and lots of sensors: capacitive touch, IR proximity, temperature, light, motion and sound. A whole wide world of electronics and coding is waiting for you, and it fits in the palm of your hand.
