STEM Chat 11/20/20 Interview with STEM Author Terri Selting David #STEM #STEMKids #Education

In Episode 2 of STEM Chat, we included an clip from our interview with Terri Selting David, author of the middle grade STEM novel, The Renegade Spy Project (book review here) and co-founder of The Renegade Girls Tinkering Club, a non-profit in San Francisco that runs amazing STEM camps for girls and boys.

Grab a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy our conversation with Terri about her organization, her book series and how she has seen first hand how kids have been learning STEM concepts through play. She never knew what we were doing for our Paper Geometry episode so it was nice to see that we were all on the same wavelength when it came to paper fun like origami and paper prism animals.

Terri is finishing up her second STEM novel in her book series and was nice enough to share with us a special project preview you can download and have your kids make. It’s perfect for making ornaments or beads for the upcoming holidays.
