We would like to wish each and every one of you a Happy Thanksgiving! Thank you for your support this year and thank you for being a part of our community – Adafruit exists because of all of you!

To celebrate Thanksgiving this year we wanted to focus on all that we’re thankful for, so we asked our team to share! You can see their responses below.

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Adafruit!

I’m thankful for all my loved ones being healthy.
I’m thankful for my soon to be wife, she keeps me going every day and
inspires me to be better today than I was yesterday.
I’m thankful for Adafruit and being part of a work community that
cares about each other.

I am thankful for my beautiful home where I can stay safe, and for my friends, co-workers and family members who have supported me through this crazy year.

After a pipe burst in my apartment, suddenly depriving me of all plumbing for two days, I’m newly and profoundly thankful for access to the clean, running water of the Hudson valley.

I am thankful for the beauty of our children, the strength of our democratic institutions, our commitment to the rule of law, and the proliferation of modern medicine.

I’m grateful to have a wonderful partner at my side through this difficult year. I’m grateful to everyone who shows through their words and actions that we can strive for a better future.

I am thankful to be getting through another crazy year (crazier than usual) with great health, this company and my best friends and family. I am thankful for the amazing support and loyalty that I have received from the main people at my side when things got rough. I am thankful to be stronger than I was before this and to create special bonds even through social distancing.

I’m thankful for sweater weather, Billy Wilder movies, my family, my health, coffee of all sorts, and hot showers after long days.

I am thankful for the love and support of my children, friends and family. And the unwavering support of my partner.

i’m grateful for the folks on my team, a roof over my head, and a refrigerator with food in it.

I’m grateful during the time of a pandemic where many lost their jobs. I was blessed to keep mine and help provide for family members who lost theirs

there is a lot to be thankful for.

thankful our team rose to the challenge of making PPE the city needed, electronics and components for the ongoing crisis.

thankful for the team that gets the essential things in, stored, made, and shipped for all the students who are remote.

thankful for the team that keeps our store serving our customers and community, our learning system which has become one of the most important educational resources.

thankful for the team that helps our customers, our community, publishing all the time, getting the good work and word out.

thankful for the code, the guides, the videos, the creativity we make and inspire even in the toughest of times.

thankful for the team that keeps our data safe, our site secure, our legal things being ethical.

thankful for the team that keeps us financially going, every dollar is hard-earned and well-spent.

thankful for the team that we have a safe facility and has kept us safe.

thankful for the team that keeps our team’s benefits, payroll, and care we all need during these times.

thankful for the teams that keep our partners going, their locations fulfilling their essentials they need in these times.

thankful we remain a good cause, a good business, and have values we care about together.

thankful we make new things, good things, valuable experiences for people in all walks of life.

thankful for those who came before us – through plagues, wars, civil rights.

thankful for the health care workers that have been saving all of us since the start.

thankful there is science and dedicated people working on some ways through and out of this.

we’re here because someone cared about us at some point in our lives. it’s a good time to tell them you are thankful for them, this year is a reminder that all time is precious and while we might not be physically together, through technology we can thank the ones we care about and the ones who have cared for us.

thankful that there is a path, we’re on it, hold tight – we’re almost there.

thanks team.

cheers,
pt and limor
