Chang’e-5 Probe successfully unfolds Chinese national flag on Moon
Chang’e-5 Probe Successfully Unfolds Chinese National Flag on Lunar Surface, video –
China’s Chang’e-5 probe successfully unfurled the Chinese national flag on the lunar surface Friday after completing sampling on the moon, and it will be a grand reminder for stargazers from all over the world to share the excitement and inspiration of the Chinese people.
This is the national flag once again displayed on the moon after Chang’e-3 and Chang’e-4 missions. However, different from the first two missions when the national flag was painted on the landers, Chang’e-5 unfurled the real red five-star flag on a flagpole, which marks the first dynamic display of Chinese national flag on the lunar surface.
