Will Cyberpunk 2077 Ever Emerge from the Wreckage of Its Release Disaster? #cyberpunk
In the aftermath of the disastrous CD Projekt Red roll-out of Cyberpunk 2077, big questions remain: Can they recover from this, get the game back on track, regain the trust of gamers, and move ahead with future plans for the IP? Personally, I’ve always felt that they will bounce back and the game will go to be the hugely successful game they originally planned, but only time will tell.
In this Gamecrate piece, they talk about how CD Projekt Red is responding to the release, what they plan to do to fix it, and on what timeline.
They also shared the video that the company released on Jan. 14 in which CDPR CEO, Marcin Iwinski, apologizes for the failures of the release and promises that the company is going to do everything they can to fix the game and regain the trust of the gaming community.
