UPDATED LIBRARY: the latest release (1.1.0) of the Adafruit_Protomatter library for various 32-bit microcontrollers adds support for “tiling” multiple RGB LED matrices into a single large canvas for graphics.
RGB matrix tiling is already present in CircuitPython 6.2-beta. Now it’s available on the Arduino side as well — anything using the Adafruit_GFX drawing library can span multiple matrices. Basic use is documented in the library’s “tiled.ino” example sketch, while matrix topology and power are best explained in this CircuitPython guide (the concepts are equally applicable to Arduino).
Adafruit_Protomatter and Adafruit_GFX can be installed or updated in the Arduino Library Manager.
