Join us at Virtcon 2021 on Feb 27th as we dive into cyberspace together, everyone is welcome. (Virtually) Spend the afternoon with members of the Cyberdeck community sharing ideas, telling stories, networking and having fun.
There’s two design competitions running and you still have time to join in. you’ll find all the details at the Virtcon page but here’s a summary.
The Cyberdeck Cafe is looking for it’s next Graphic-T design and we want it to come from our awesome maker community. Submit your design by Noon(MST) Feb 25th for your chance at fame and glory…ok that’s a slight exaggeration but you can win a VOXELAB Proxima Monochrome Resin Printer!
We’re also having a Cyberdeck build off and if you’re still not sure what a Cyberdeck is that’s ok nobody really knows but you can checkout some fine examples at The Neon City Mix.
Your mission is to design a large yet portable Cyberdeck all while making the deadline of Noon (MST) Feb 26th. First place takes home a EZFlex² provided by TH3D.
The future belongs to us, let’s build it together. Virtcon 2021, brought to you by the Cyberdeck Cafe maker community.
Stop breadboarding and soldering – start making immediately! Adafruit’s Circuit Playground is jam-packed with LEDs, sensors, buttons, alligator clip pads and more. Build projects with Circuit Playground in a few minutes with the drag-and-drop MakeCode programming site, learn computer science using the CS Discoveries class on code.org, jump into CircuitPython to learn Python and hardware together, TinyGO, or even use the Arduino IDE. Circuit Playground Express is the newest and best Circuit Playground board, with support for CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. It has a powerful processor, 10 NeoPixels, mini speaker, InfraRed receive and transmit, two buttons, a switch, 14 alligator clip pads, and lots of sensors: capacitive touch, IR proximity, temperature, light, motion and sound. A whole wide world of electronics and coding is waiting for you, and it fits in the palm of your hand.
Have an amazing project to share? The Electronics Show and Tell is every Wednesday at 7pm ET! To join, head over to YouTube and check out the show’s live chat – we’ll post the link there.
