Your record player or turntable’s stylus is the first point in the audio signal chain. It is the instrument responsible for directly tracking your record and beginning the process of transforming an other-wise useless groove into sweet, sweet music. In this video we reveal how and why you should clean your stylus regularly using a purpose designed brush and cleaning fluid. Alternatively, gel-based products work well for those who don’t like to use fluid.
